ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND ENTERPRISE (EDE)

Hertfordshire is economically successful. It is well-located and well-qualified with flourishing enterprises. The EDE Block seeks to build on Hertfordshire’s locational advantages in a sustainable way by making better use of existing infrastructure and by supporting residents who are not benefiting from the wealth of the county. HEALTHIER COMMUNITIES AND OLDER PEOPLE (HCOP)

The Healthier Communities and Older People Block aims to improve the health and quality of life of Hertfordshire’s residents with a focus on older people and those with limited access to health care. Targets have been set  to enable partners to focus on the important issues for the independence and well-being of local communities and older people. SAFER & STRONGER COMMUNITIES (SSC)

This Block seeks to tackle crime and disorder and create safer and stronger communities by addressing the causes of crime and anti-social behaviour, deprivation and community well-being. It also seeks to ensure cleaner, safer and greener neighbourhoods by creating quality spaces and managing the environment sustainably. Click on the following links to find out more about SSC.

 

 

CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE (CYP)

Partners, including the Voluntary and Community Sector, have come together and agreed on issues they believe to be important to children. The CYP Block focuses on healthy lifestyles, protection of children and performance in school, among other things. Click on the following links to find out more about CYP.
